The company served meals to students at Bastrop and Cedar Creek high schools March 21 and 22, respectively. The meals were made with fresh mussels and saffron, TAHER CEO Bruce Taher said.

The events were part of a partnership with Bastrop ISD's child nutrition department and Taher to offer students fresh choices in the cafeteria.
Inspired by flavors around the globe, Taher recipes are prepared from scratch.
On Taher’s paella meal tour, the company will serve 4,000 members of the school community. The company will serve over 28,000 students, faculty, and staff throughout the remainder of the school year.
