Bastrop ISD officials appointed a new head football coach and athletic coordinator for Cedar Creek High School on Dec. 19.

Two-minute impact

With more than 10 years of working with students under his belt, Jared Shaw came to CCHS after his most recent position with Copperas Cove High School—where he served as the assistant head football coach, offensive coordinator and University Interscholastic League coordinator.

BISD Communications Director Cassie Balderas told Community Impact that the former athletics coordinator, Josh Thomas, has taken on a new role as middle school athletics coordinator.
