Cedar Park Regional Medical Center announced May 16 that Brad Holland will assume the role of CEO. He takes over for Tim Adams, who stepped down May 4.

"After discussion with those involved in the search process, the decision has been made to name Brad as the permanent CEO," said Tom Gallagher, chairman of the CPRMC board of trustees. "Brad is an experienced CEO and has the leadership skills for this important role."

Holland most recently served as CEO of San Angelo Community Medical Center, a 171-bed hospital in San Angelo. Prior to that, he was administrator at River Region Health System, a 372-bed hospital in Vicksburg, Miss. Holland holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

"I look forward to leading the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center team," Holland said. "I am familiar with the success of this hospital, and I have every intention of working together with our employees, medical staff, board of trustees and community to advance our goals."
