Sterling Ridge[/caption]
The Village of Sterling Ridge opened in 1999 and is one of the newest villages in The Woodlands, featuring a variety of neighborhood parks for walking and jogging and retail and dining options. Over 15,000 residents live in Sterling Ridge, which is located on the west side of The Woodlands, in proximity to FM 1488. There are about 2,500 homes in the village. Children in the area can attend Conroe ISD schools. Public transportation is available through the Sterling Ridge Park ’n’ Ride, which can be found near a branch of the South Montgomery YMCA.

Local amenities
Terramont Park is located near the corner of Terramont and Branch Crossing drives and features one of the only two disc golf courses in The Woodlands. The park is dog-friendly and also features a large concrete area for skateboarding and rollerblading. Two tennis courts, a basketball court and a soccer field can also be found at the park.
