Turquoise Wine Bar is planning to open this fall in The Woodlands, owner René Murphy said.
What's happening?
Plans for the new location at Grogan's Mill Village Center have been in the works since November, she said.
"We really spent time looking for an ideal location, looking at square footage that would allow for a few intimate spaces," Murphy said in an email. "We also wanted good acoustic options because live music will be important to a great experience. Most importantly, we required a significant amount of space for a beautiful 'Wall of Wine' that will be available for purchase to take home or enjoy in-house."
The business offers wine by the glass, wine flights, sangrias and spritzes as well as non-alcoholic beverages and food items such as small bites, bruschettas, salads, pizzas and desserts, according to the franchise website.
Murphy said the patio will also be pet-friendly, and a "Bark-Uterie Board" will be provided for pet snacks and cheeses.
What's next
Work on the location is underway with the Turquoise Wine Bar team, SFV Services and Howard Hughes Communities, Murphy said. The goal is for a late September or early October opening.
