Spring ISD officials opted to postpone all April 23 baseball games and close the Tri-Club Show early in anticipation of inclement weather slated to hit the Greater Houston area later April 23, according to a social media post made by district officials at about 3:30 p.m.
According to the post, while the district will be operating its after-school programs, evening buses may be delayed due to hazardous weather.
ATTENTION: We are closely monitoring the weather and have decided to postpone all baseball games this evening and will close the Tri-Club Show early.

According to the National Weather Service, Harris County is one of several counties along the Gulf Coast region in Texas and Louisiana that is under a tornado watch that will be in effect until at least 9 p.m.
