Grand Parkway Marketplace I will include 60 stores and will be open by the end of 2017, Kimco Realty President Rob Nadler said.
"We are about 80 percent [leased] in Grand Parkway Marketplace I,” Nadler said. “We anticipate Target to open in the middle of March and junior anchors to open in the middle of March and April.”
Junior anchors include stores such as PetSmart and Michaels.

In October, Community Impact Newspaper reported Kimco Realty was opening a second Grand Parkway Marketplace shopping center at the intersection of Spring Stuebner and Kuykendahl roads near the Grand Parkway. Grand Parkway Marketplace II will include 35-40 stores, with Hobby Lobby and Academy Sports + Outdoors committed to the site as anchors and one more unannounced anchor, Nadler said.
Although the third anchor for Grand Parkway Marketplace II has not been identified, Nadler said the store size could be 50,000 square feet. Additional tenants for Grand Parkway Marketplace II have been confirmed, but Kimco is not ready to announce those stores, Nadler said.
