Pecan Street Festival
Austin’s longest-running art and music festival will take place at Hill Country Galleria for its 50th anniversary celebration this spring. The festival will feature local vendors and artists, live music artists, kids' rides, a petting zoo and more.

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is staying open late every Tuesday until May 13 to “make more hours for wildflowers.” Each evening will have local live music, food trucks and alcoholic drinks for purchase.

Peerbagh, an Austin-based nonprofit organization, will present this South Asian-inspired storytelling festival for families to learn about folk art, dance, music and literature. There will be storytelling, music and dance performances, author panels and story exhibits. RSVP on the Peerbagh website.

Art lovers, enthusiasts and collectors are invited to check out 55 local, national and international galleries for the Affordable Art Fair’s second annual showcase in Austin. Guests will be able to walk through the galleries of contemporary art and learn about the art-buying world through panel discussions, tours and workshops.

West of Weird Art Tour
The Dripping Springs Art League will host an inaugural tour featuring 30 local artists and five galleries throughout Dripping Springs, showcasing media including watercolor, acrylics, sculpture, metal, fiber, glass and more. The tour participants can see art demonstrations, shop for art and visit with art league members.
Spanning Memorial Day Weekend, this festival calls itself a “DIY casserole of the culinary and music world.” The food events and music shows will exhibit some of Austin’s best chefs and talented musicians.
The 14th annual Dripping Springs Fair & Rodeo will have bull riding, mutton busting, vendor shopping, barrel racing and more. The weekend will feature free events during the day and ticketed performances in the evening, plus vendors and food trucks.
