Austin is known for being a hub of diversity and culture, and the next few weeks will show just that when three film festivals—the Austin Film Festival, the Austin Polish Film Festival and the Austin Jewish Film Festival—begin their annual showcases. Oct. 27-Nov. 3: 29th Annual Austin Film Festival & Writers Conference
The Austin Film Festival will provide eight days of original films from both accomplished and aspiring filmmakers. Those seeking to watch what this year's festival has in store can buy their badges or passes now, which range from $80 for a film pass to $375 for a weekend badge, with more options on the website. The main events during the festival will be at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, 700 San Jacinto St., Austin, and The Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta, 701 Congress Ave., Austin.
