Austin Pets Alive and Hays County have extended the deadline for the survey regarding the new pet resource center.

What you need to know

The county partnered with APA earlier this year to create a new $24 million pet resource center to support and serve the community. The center will serve around 2,000 cats and dogs annually.

A feasibility study done last year found the new center should be centrally located and easily accessible in the county.
