Texas State University has announced it will extend its spring break and move towards remote courses as a response to coronavirus concerns.
The break will be extended for a week in efforts to prevent the spread of the virus. It will now run from March 16-27, according to a statement from TSU Presidnet Denise M. Trauth.
In addition, the university will begin conducting courses remotely from March 30-April 12. Faculty members will provide students with more information on how their courses will be taught remotely by March 25.
Texas State campuses and offices will remain open during this time, and resident halls and dining services will continue to operate for students on campus.
