Each year, the Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program accepts applications for its Back-To-School Program, which gives a basic bag of school supplies to students in grades K-12. Applications for the program will be accepted July 10-Aug. 11.

To qualify, applicants must be families with limited or no income who are at or below the federal poverty level. Applicants must also live in the following ZIP codes: 78108, 78109, 78132, 78148, 78154, 78247, 78233 (Live Oak only) or 78266.

These documents need to be provided for the application:
  • Photo ID of the applicant
  • Social Security cards for everyone in the household; will accept passport, birth certificate or current-year tax form
  • Proof of residence within the RACAP service area, such as a current utility bill or lease
  • Proof of all income and benefits for everyone in the household
Applications can be found online and must be presented in person. The RACAP is located at 307 Pfeil St., Schertz. Those in need of help can contact the RACAP on weekdays from 1-3 p.m. at 210-658-1613.
