The city of Schertz and Heidelberg Materials will be partnering with the Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program to host a food drive from April 14-21.

The RACAP began in 1983 as a way for local churches to assist the community with food, utilities and other needs.

This initiative will help the organization stock the shelves for the summer months, which helps families with children who do not have access to school meals during that time. In this drive, the city will act as a collection point for food items.
