Operation Comfort will partner with Schertz and Selma to host the 13th annual Salute to Service Members 5K. Proceeds for this event are donated to Operation Comfort, which uses funds to support service members who were wounded, ill or injured.

Awards will be given for the male and female 5K categories, and awards will be given for the adapted division that includes adaptive ambulatory, hand cycle, recumbent, motorized category, wheelchair racing, manual chair and sports chair.

Alongside the 5K will be a free kids freedom run for ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 8.
