This event is sponsored by H-E-B and will feature live music, food trucks and more family-friendly fun.
According to the parks and recreation department, the hope is to make the race an annual event that helps promote businesses in the community.
Attendance and participation to the event is free, but T-shirts will be available for purchase for $20.
The race will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Niemietz Park, 618 W. FM 78, Cibolo.
