The city of Cibolo will have three City Council seats up for election in November, including the Place 2 position.

What you need to know

As of the Aug. 18 deadline to file for November elections, two candidates will vie for the Place 2 council position—incumbent Randy Roberts and challenger David Freimarck.

According to the city's website, Roberts has served as Place 2 council member since November 2022. He received 606 votes, or 52.79%, in 2022 against challenger Cody Hick’s 542 votes, or 47.21%.

Freimarck has been a Cibolo resident for 7 years and 4 months, according to his election filing. He ran for Cibolo City Council Place 6 in 2024.


On the ballot

The Nov. 4 Cibolo ballot will include races for council Places 2, 3 and 7. The city’s mayoral position is also up for election this fall.

Early voting will begin Oct. 20 and end Oct. 31. The last day to register to vote is Oct. 6.
