The more than 25,000-square-foot building will feature a modern layout, which is designed to improve the shopping experience, according to an Oct. 3 news release.
The store will feature a selection of clothing, accessories, household items, electronics and other donated items. A two-lane drive-thru will also optimize donation intakes, according to the release. More than 35 individuals will be employed at the new store.
“Our new Gateway store is a prototypical design to help improve the shopper and donor experience,” said Carlos J. Contreras III, president and CEO at Goodwill San Antonio, in the release. “This location will better serve the city of Live Oak and surrounding areas, and further support our commitment to creating opportunities, transforming lives and building a stronger workforce.”
The new store will open at 10 a.m., following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
