As a national bank chain expands across the country, it plans to add additional locations in the San Antonio area.

PNC Bank, the national financial institution headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., plans to add nine more branch offices in the San Antonio metro, bank officials told Community Impact.
Chris Sherman, PNC Regional President for San Antonio, said the timeline for the opening of the new locations spans over the next four years.
At this point in the process, PNC hasn’t determined where the branches will be, but they’re “assessing new locations based on data such as customer needs, economic impact, community partner feedback and future growth,” Sherman said.
The financial institution currently has 17 locations throughout San Antonio, according to its website.
