Live Oak residents can drop off trees across from the municipal pool and clubhouse at 7901 Shin Oak Drive, according to a social media post on the Live Oak Facebook page.
Trees need to be bare with all lights and decorations already removed.
In Selma, Republic Services will pick up trees on regularly scheduled pickup dates during the second and third weeks of January, Jan. 9-13 and Jan. 16-20.
Trees taller than 7 feet must be cut in half and all trees must be placed at the curb. Residents needing tree disposal after Jan. 20 can call for bulk pickup.
