San Antonio City Council District 1 is hosting its second annual Share the Warmth coat drive, which began Dec. 2 and ends Jan. 9.
New and gently used coats of all sizes for children and adults are needed, along with scarves, gloves and winter hats, to benefit local individuals who are struggling to keep warm over the winter, a news release said.
Donations of coats, hats, scarves and gloves can be dropped off at any of the following locations:
- District 1 field office, 1310 Vance Jackson Road
- Central Library, 600 Soledad St.
- Landa Library, 233 Bushnell Drive
- San Pedro Library, 1315 San Pedro Ave.
- Westfall Library, 6111 Rosedale Court
Individuals served by Corazon Ministries, Christian Assistance Ministry and Harper’s Chapel Church will benefit from the Share the Warmth coat drive, the release said.
