Village at Stone Oak shopping center presents a Wine and Whiskey Walk on Oct. 6 when attendees can visit participating retailers and restaurants for wine and whiskey tastings, food pairings, shopping, entertainment, raffle prizes, craft cocktail-making classes and giveaways.

All ticket holders must check in at the event area near Starbucks to get a tasting bracelet, event map, discounts and swag bag. Wine and Whiskey Walk will be held 5-8 p.m.

Fort Worth-based Silver Star Spirits will lead the scheduled Mixology 101 activity in which guests may learn how to craft two unique cocktails. Sessions are set for 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Advance reservation for Mixology is required and must be combined with an advance ticket purchase.

All-inclusive admission is $25 per person through Oct. 2 Admission will increase to $35 and last there until event time; then it is $35 at the door.

Admission for designated drivers is $10, and free for children ages 12 and under. All proceeds benefit the San Antonio Humane Society.

There will also be a post-event party at Stout House at the Village at Stone Oak from 8 a.m.-midnight. Ticket holders with their ticket or wristband can receive 30% off their purchase at the bar.
