As part of the 2022-27 Bond Program, San Antonio city officials will reconstruct a series of roads in severe disrepair.

The overview

As a means of prioritizing roadways repairs, the city grades most streets in San Antonio from A to F. Using special equipment, city officials produce a pavement condition index from 0 to 100. Approximately 11%, or about 471 miles, are failing with a PCI of 40 or below.

Streets to be reconstructed include:
  • Camp Bullis Road from Babcock Road to Luskey Boulevard
  • Denore Place from Fredericksburg Road to Tupelo Lane
  • Sonoma Parkway from Burnt Path to Turlock Run
  • Tupelo Lane from Donore Place to Mocking Bird Lane
  • Lockhill Road from Oakland Road to Pembroke
  • Prue Road from Laureate Drive to Fredericksburg Road
  • Encino Park Road from Southwell Road to Oakland Road
  • Honeycomb Drive from Huebner Road to Sunburst Lane
  • Lockhill Road from Oakland Road to Southwell Road
  • Millstone from Redlawn to Tioga
The 2022-27 bond program includes $100.5 million in funding to reconstruct several of these F-graded streets in each council district.

Construction is estimated to be completed in spring 2027.
