Thirsty Pups Brewery and Bottle Shop hosted a soft opening in September in Castle Hills.
Thirsty Pups was launched by Erik Ureta, who has worked at two other local breweries, Second Pitch Brewing Co. and Alamo Beer Co., and Audra Perkins.
Representatives for the new microbrewery said they will have six to eight house beers on tap, two of which are currently available—Crystal Lite West Coast IPA and Dozer’s Nitro Best Bitter. They will also have guest beers.
Additionally, Thirsty Pups offers a few wines available by the glass, as well as board and card games for visitors to enjoy.
Seating is available indoors and outdoors. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed inside and outside.
Ureta said while the brewery does not provide food, guests may bring in their own food or order a meal from a neighboring restaurant.
