According to a news release, the Jazz Night will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the lobby and bar area of the onsite restaurant Ambler.
This is the inaugural event for a series of Jazz Nights that will occur on the last Saturday of the month. The event will feature a performance from the Fermata Jazz Trio. One dollar of each drink sale will support River Walk Royalty, which raises funds for local hospitality and architectural preservation scholarships.
The solo art show will open from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Jan. 26 in the bottom level of the hotel. The free event will feature an exhibit from Mexican-American artist Mary Carmen Sessions. Proceeds from art sales will be donated to Fireman Sam’s candidacy for River Walk King.
