The Semmes Branch of the San Antonio Public Library reopened Jan. 13 after a scheduled renovation.

What you need to know

Located at 15060 Judson Road, the library branch received a fresh coat of paint and renovated restrooms on the interior as well as a cleaning and maintenance to the facility’s exterior. The project was completed on time after an eight-week closure that began Nov. 18.

During the closure, work also began on the restoration of the Semmes Branch Library patio, which overlooks the Library Loop trail of Comanche Lookout Park. Work on the patio is ongoing, and for now the patio will remain closed. Semmes Branch Library will remain open while work on the patio continues.

Library customers now have multiple options for collecting physical library materials, including using designated curbside pickup spots. Curbside pickup at Semmes is available by parking near the front entrance and calling 210-207-9110.
