An upcoming episode of the long-running television game show “Family Feud” will feature a family from north central San Antonio.

The Gudaitis family recently filmed an edition on the popular game show, with that episode scheduled to air Feb. 20, a Feb. 7 news release said.

Hosted by Steve Harvey, half-hour episodes of “Family Feud” are broadcast back-to-back-to-back 5-6:30 p.m. weekdays on KABB television.

The Gudaitises are the latest San Antonio-area family to participate on “Family Feud.” This edition will include family members Rachel Baldwin, Jonathan Baldwin, Daniel Gudaitis, Angela Detlaff and Charlotte Gudaitis.

Rachel Baldwin said she and her game-loving family thought it would be fun to apply for “Family Feud,” especially because they have regularly watched the show for 30 years.

“It’s a show we all grew up watching,” she added.

Baldwin said during the height of COVID-19 lockdowns around Thanksgiving 2020, they created their own homegrown game audition video.

"We love doing escape rooms, so we did an escape room-themed audition video of us trying to get to the ‘Family Feud' audition. It was so fun, and we laughed a lot,” Baldwin said.

Given “Family Feud” was their first time officially trying out for a game show, it was a positive experience, according to Baldwin.

"We also met some amazing families and had a great time making new friends,” Baldwin said.

She added that her family is very competitive and quick to give an answer.

"We practiced several times before the show. Most importantly, we made sure we had a lot of fun and brought a lot of energy,” she added.
