As part of the continued efforts to install elevated lanes along I-35, a full closure is scheduled for the intersection of I-35 and Loop 1604 from July 19-22.

The details

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the closure will be for the installation of steel girders. During the closure, the westbound and eastbound collector ramps of Loop 1604 at I-35 will not be accessible.

The connector ramp from southbound I-35 to eastbound Loop 1604 and the ramp from northbound I-35 to westbound Loop 1604 will also be closed.

During these closures, traffic will be detoured around the intersection via the frontage roads.

Closures will begin July 19 at 9 p.m. and end July 22 at 5 a.m.
