Williams succeeds Dawn Schriewer, who is retiring. Schriewer served as the utility’s CFO for 20 years, the release states.

Williams previously served as the CFO for Denton, Wichita Falls and the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System. She also has leadership experience in municipal finance, budgeting and strategic planning, according to the release. She will oversee NBU’s Finance and Energy Risk departments which include:
- Accounting
- Budgeting
- Risk management
NBU CEO Ryan Kelso said Williams brings extensive experience in municipal finance and has a proven track record of developing effective funding strategies and modernizing financial operations.
“Jessica is well-equipped to help NBU maintain a strong financial position, balance affordability with reliability and ensure our long-term financial stability for the benefit of our customers," Kelso said in the release.
