Get your skate on at these four ice skating rinks in the San Antonio-New Braunfels area that are worth the trip this holiday season. This list is not comprehensive.

Rotary Ice Rink at Travis Park

The Rotary Ice Rink at Travis Park in downtown San Antonio will run until Jan. 5. Skates will be available for rent or guests can bring their own. Food and drink vendors will also be on-site.

Ice skate at Coca Cola’s Classic Christmas

The Christmas experience held at Toyota Field features ice skating, lights, sculptures and interactive Coca Cola displays. Guests can shop, visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as enjoy other activities.Gruene Ice Rink

Gruene opened its first ice skating rink in November, and it will be open daily through Jan. 5. The rink is located behind The Pomegranate women’s clothing store. Hot cocoa, cookies and Gruene merchandise will be available for purchase.

The Rock at La Cantera Winterfest


Guests can ice skate, shop, and play at the Spurs entertainment park. Skates will be available to rent, or guests can bring their own. The holiday event will also offer photos with Santa and movie nights.
