The Seguin-based Mid-Texas Symphony will play multiple concerts, including a holiday concert, for its 2024-25 season, according to a news release.

The details

Part of the lineup features composer Jean Sibelius’ "Second Symphony," a piece about Finland’s fight for independence. The concert will be at Canyon High School Performing Arts Center in New Braunfels on Nov. 3.

“I can’t wait for our audiences to experience this dynamic music as it comes to life on our stages,” Music Director Akiko Fujimoto said in a statement.

Mid-Texas Symphony will put on a holiday concert called "Merry Melodies" featuring music from movies "It's a Wonderful Life," “White Christmas” and “The Polar Express.” That concert will also include a performance of selections from "The Nutcracker" and will feature Ballet Texas.
