Fiesta Patria: Las Fotos de Ayer

The Sophienburg Museum & Archives will host a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month featuring photos from the Seidel Studio Collection spanning from the 1920s-1960s. The event will have entertainment, local food, crafts and activities.

TeeUp for Teens Golf Tournament


The TeeUp for Teens Golf Tournament will feature 18 celebrity athletes for a golf tournament to benefit the Mill Street Youth Center and New Braunfels Youth Collaborative. Teens in grades 6-12 will have the opportunity to meet and play with athletes like Robert Brazile, Cat Osterman and Dennis Gentry.

Gruene 10K/5K

Participants will start and finish at Gruene Hall. They will receive t-shirts and race-specific finisher's medals, and awards will be given to top performers. A post-race celebration will feature music, food and craft beer.New Braunfels Farmers Market

Comal County Fair & Rodeo

The 131st annual Comal County Fair & Rodeo will feature multiple events, including a barbecue cook-off, food vendors, commercial exhibits and a livestock show. Classic fair attractions, including carnival rides and a rodeo will also take place. The parade will occur Sept. 27 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in downtown New Braunfels.Hollydays Market

Mariachi Herencia De México

The Latin Grammy-nominated band will perform at the Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre. The mariachi group is composed of 14 musicians and has produced five albums.

Gruene Music & Wine Festival

Live music, silent auctions, and wine and craft beer tastings will fill the streets of Gruene during the annual festival. The multi-day event will raise funds for the United Way of Comal County.Two Rivers Plein Air


Plein Air artists from across the country will gather in New Braunfels to create artwork that emphasizes the historical and natural beauty of the city. Multiple events will take place, and artists are challenged to complete as many works of art as possible before the submission deadline on Oct. 18. A reception and awards ceremony will follow at the New Braunfels Art League on Oct. 18 from 6-8 p.m. The artists’ final works of art will be on sale at the New Braunfels Art League on Oct. 19.
