Market Square Labor Day Celebration

Historic Market Square will have a three-day event featuring live music, activities and local food and market vendors, featuring art, handmade goods and more.

Adult Night: Cosplay Edition

Legoland Discovery Center will have a kid-free night Aug. 30. Legoland features rides, a Build & Test Zone where guests can build their own race car, and more. Guests are encouraged to dress in family-friendly cosplay. There also will be prize giveaways at 8:30 p.m.Labor Day Artisan Show


Local vendors will display and sell merchandise along the San Antonio River Walk near Shops at Rivercenter. Artisans will feature products like pottery, jewelry, art, paintings, beadwork and more.Ford Parade of Lights

The light parade will feature 10 to 12 illuminated boats throughout the downtown River Walk. Each boat will depict light themes and will have props.San Japan

San Japan 15, which organizers claim as the biggest anime and gaming convention in South Texas, will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and neighboring San Antonio Grand Hyatt in downtown San Antonio. The family friendly event will have cosplay, guest artists and celebrities, contests, an arcade gaming area, panel discussions, autograph signings, musical performances and dozens of vendors dealing pop culture merchandise.

Labor Day Luau

The Texas Ski Ranch will be hosting a Labor Day celebration with bouncy houses, live music, face painting and other family-friendly activities.Labor Day Tejano Sunday


The events at Legends Dancehall will feature music from Dat DJ. From 5-8 p.m., Teens will be able to dance with friends and family. The Tejano dance for adults 18 years old and over will begin at 8 p.m.
