A Beatles tribute show and a live music festival are a couple of the events happening in New Braunfels in April and May.

Total Solar Eclipse Party

Celebrate this celestial wonder at the library with events and activities including eclipse ambassador training, a "make your own" eclipse t-shirt station, interactive displays and exhibits, educational arts and crafts and more. 5k Beer Run

Run, walk or jog this 5k course that starts and ends in downtown New Braunfels. Afterward, celebrate with a locally-brewed craft beverage from New Braunfels Brewing Company at the finish line.Earth Day Celebration

Join Headwaters on the Comal and other community environmental organizations in celebrating Earth Day. Connect with nature by exploring a native prairie restoration, strolling along the Comal river or participating in hands-on activities.Thru the Chute Boat Race

At this competition event, participants will launch their handmade cardboard boats through the New Braunfels City Tube Chute as spectators cheer them on. There will also be educational activities hosted by event partners on the banks of the Comal River.May


Saengerfest 2024

Formerly known as Wein and Saengerfest, this festival will have two stages for live music from headliners and local musicians, family and kids’ activities, downtown shopping, food vendors as well as wine and craft beer samplings. A free park-and-ride shuttle will be available at New Braunfels City Hall from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.‘Matilda: The Musical JR.’

Watch Roald Dahl’s beloved story of a girl with an extraordinary imagination on the main stage. With dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda JR. is a show for children and adults alike.

Mayfest 2024 at Mayfair

The inaugural live music and family festival will feature tethered hot air balloon rides, an exotic petting zoo with baby kangaroos, a rock wall, inflatable games, kites, ax throwing, food trucks, local vendors, and more, with the option to tour model homes. Musical acts Bicycle Boy, Sound Cynic and Zoomdust will perform.
