Republican candidates Doug Leecock and incumbent Kevin Webb won the Comal County commissioners Precinct 1 and Precinct 3 race, and incumbent Mark Reynolds won the race for Comal County Sheriff.

Leecock received 22,304 or 79.54% of votes, while his Democrat opponent Julie P. Sanders received 5,736 or 20.46% of votes.

Webb received 10,306 or 67.45% of votes, while his Democrat opponent Tanya Marroquin received 4,974 or 32.55% of votes.

Reynolds won with 74,009 or 76.56% of votes, while his opponent David Williams received 22,665 or 23.44% of votes.

Comal County early voting results show Republican front runners in the Precinct 1 and Precinct 3 commissioners races, as well as in the sheriffs race.

Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.

Comal County led Texas in voter turnout among counties with over 40,000 voters, with 89,066 early votes cast—nearly 62% of its 143,696 registered voters—by the Nov. 1 early voting deadline, according to county and state data.

Doug Leecock leads in the race for Comal County commissioner, Precinct 1 over Julie P. Sanders with 19,341 or 79.89% of the votes. Sanders has garnered 4,870 votes.

Incumbent Kevin Webb leads in the race for Comal County commissioner, Precinct 3 over Tanya Marroquin. Webb took an early lead with 67.96% or 8,328 votes. Marroquin gathered 3,926.

Incumbent Mark Reynolds leads in the race for Comal County Sheriff over David Williams with 63,869 votes, or 77.03% of the vote. Williams garnered 19,042 votes.
