The business is owned by long time New Braunfels residents John and Brenda Muth, who began selling bee equipment in July at local beekeeping club meetings and online.
TCR Bee Supply will sell a variety of beekeeping supplies for local "beeks," or beekeepers, John said in an email to Community Impact. The shop will sell frames, bee jackets, hive tops, starter hives and more.
"Keeping bees should be an enjoyable hobby and not a scary movie attack scene," John said.
