The Christmas store offers a variety of holiday decorations, gifts and related services, said owner Dean Yeager. Besides Christmas-related items, the store has a wide range of products for different occasions, including everyday gifts suitable for birthdays, graduations and other holidays.
Yeager initially forayed into the Christmas business by designing and renting out Christmas decorations, which eventually led to the opening of the store. The shop will offer those services again soon, Yeager said, such as decorating homes and office lobbies for Christmas, renting out decorations and offering mobile gift-wrapping services.
"[Santa's Sleigh Christmas Shoppe] has been an adventure already," Yeager said. "A lot of work and still a lot of work to do."
There are plans for a designated room in the shop to be "Santa's study," Yeager said, where families can come for photo sessions with Santa throughout the year. Additionally, Yeager intends to participate in local holiday events, such as the city's tree lighting ceremony.
