More than 15,000 people voted in person in Richardson over the first seven days of early voting.
Residents have the option of voting at one of two polling locations, depending on their county of residence: Dallas County residents can vote at the Civic Center, while Collin County residents can vote at the Richardson Office Complex.
The Civic Center saw an average of 1,677 in-person ballots cast per day between Oct. 13-19. Fewer people cast ballots at the office complex, which averaged about 472 voters per day.
Dallas County has broken records for in-person voting turnout since Oct. 13, according to tweets from Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins. In the first seven days of early voting, 347,249 residents showed up to vote. As of Oct. 19, 24% of all Dallas County registered voters had already voted, Jenkins said in a tweet.
