A tech company is expanding its Richardson facility and the Einstein Bros. Bagels Terminal A location at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is set to undergo renovations. Check out some of the latest North Texas construction projects filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
1. Celestica expansion in Richardson
The tech company Celestica is expanding its Richardson facility with a new 225,000-square-foot building, according to TDLR documents. An estimated 2,300 jobs will be created in the process, according to previous Community Impact reporting. The lease at the new facility runs through 2036.

2. New Advantage Storage in Frisco
The self-storage company Advantage Storage is opening a new location along Hollyhock Road. The location will come with two two-story buildings and two single-story buildings, per the TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to take roughly three years to complete.

3. Mapleshade Apartments clubhouse and parking
A two-story clubhouse and parking area will be developed as part of a 360-unit apartment complex planned for east Plano, TDLR documents state. Plano’s planning and zoning commission approved a new site plan for the project June 15, which will have a total of five levels, according to previous Community Impact reporting. Mapleshade Apartments will include three courtyards, a park, a pool and a garage with six levels.

4. Charles Schwab Southlake campus renovations
The Southlake campus for Charles Schwab is undergoing renovations on its first floor, according to a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to start in the fall and last over a year.

5. Renovations at Einstein Bros. Bagels at DFW Airport’s Terminal A
The Einstein Bros. Bagels location at the DFW Airport’s Terminal A is getting electrical, mechanical and plumbing system upgrades, per a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to start in the fall and will last roughly five months.
