4. 15th Street improvements

The design phase is 90 percent complete for a project to improve the intersections at 4A. 15th Street and Municipal Avenue and 4B. 14th Street and K Avenue. The project also includes spot repairs to the brick pavement along 15th Street through Historic Downtown Plano. Work is expected to begin in May.

5. Coit Road/15th Street, Custer Road/Plano Parkway projects

Utility relocations have begun for a project to improve the intersections at 5A. Coit Road and 15th Street and 5B. Custer Road and Plano Parkway. When complete, these intersections will have double left-hand turn lanes in each direction. The intersections will also feature dedicated right-hand turn lanes in each direction in order to increase capacity for motorists.

6. Park Boulevard/US 75 pedestrian crossing project

Work is about 90 percent complete on a project to construct a 12-foot-wide hike and bike trail and pedestrian bridge along the north side of Park Boulevard between Archerwood Street and Enterprise Drive. Crews are working on irrigation and landscaping near the trail.

7. Dallas Parkway improvements

Design work is now about 95 percent complete for a project to add dedicated northbound and southbound right-turn lanes along Dallas Parkway at 7A. Parker Road and 7B. Park Boulevard. When complete, the intersections will also feature an additional through lane to increase capacity and lower congestion at these intersections. The project also includes similar intersection improvements at 7C. Alma Drive and Spring Creek Parkway
