This wood fire rotisserie place opened its first Plano location in May. Cowboy Chicken offers Tex-Mex tacos, rotisserie chicken plates, salads and chicken sandwiches. Customers can also choose various sides like green beans, mashed potatoes and Mexican street corn. Dessert options include peach cobbler and chocolate churro.
This Michelin-recommended Southern fried chicken restaurant opened in mid-June. Hattie B’s offers five spice levels from mild to its “Shut the Cluck up!”, and is known for its heat and hospitality. Some of the Tennessee-based restaurant’s dessert options include banana pudding and peach cobbler.
This Rowlett-based chicken restaurant opened its Plano location in late June. Lava Hot Chicken has bold, flavor-first Halal chicken with a “spice ladder” of five levels. Some of its side options include mac and cheese, coleslaw and Texas Toast. Lava Hot Chicken is planned to open two more locations in Little Elm and Richardson.
