Hutto City Council voted unanimously for 2 miles of road reconstruction in parts of Old Town, CR 132 and the Carl Stern area.
The details
The $732,434 contract with Bennett Paving will reconstruct some city alleys and the following roads:
- Carl Stern Drive
- CR 132
- Taylor Street
- West Street
- Anthony Street
- Pecan Street
Due to poor pavement conditions, the roads will receive a 2-inch asphalt overlay for preservation and rebuilding. Other spot repairs will also occur during the project, as well as striping Carl Stern Drive.
