Two City Council places and several City Charter amendments will be on the local ballot for Pflugerville this November.
Up for election on Nov. 2 are City Council places 3 and 5, which are occupied by Council Members Omar Pena and Mike Heath, respectively. Both were elected to council in 2018.
So far, Heath and Jim McDonald, who both serve on the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation board of directors, have filed for a spot in Place 5.
Kimberly Holiday, Bradley Hickman and Adline Brewer have filed to run for Place 3, but Pena has reached his term limit and will not be able to run for reelection, according to information from the city secretary’s office.
