The Pearland Medical Center held a ribbon cutting for its new Medical Surgical Unit on Nov. 29. The $8.5 million unit, located inside the Pearland Medical Center at 11100 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, will hold medical patients for a number of ailments and will also handle post-surgical cases. There will also be four observational beds in the 23-bed unit.
