After closing on a temporary basis April 24 in the wake of heavy rains, the city of Buda announced April 25 that both lanes of Old Goforth Road between FM 2001 and Stone Crest Boulevard will remain closed “for the time being.”

The northbound lane of Old Goforth will also be closed south of Stone Crest, but the southbound lane is open.

The closure includes the intersection of Old Goforth and Tom Green School Road; traffic to the school will be detoured.
