The Woodlands Township will conduct a survey of residents this fall to gauge the community’s opinion of a number of major issues and township services. At the July 19 township meeting, the board of directors agreed upon the questions of the survey.

In previous years, the survey has focused on topics, such as transportation, law enforcement, township services and governance. The survey was mailed out to roughly 6,100 homes, and approximately 1,550 households, or 25 percent, completed the survey in 2016.

Many of the questions from the 2016 survey will also appear in the 2018 survey to gain insight as to how the community is evolving. In the last survey, the top reported issues were traffic, mobility and development.

The survey will be sent out to residents in mid-September, and it will last throughout October.
