Repairs will bring closures on NE Inner Loop through Wednesday

A section of NE Inner Loop between FM 971 and Stadium Drive will close to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for road repairs, according to the city of Georgetown.

NE Inner Loop will be completely closed Tuesday between FM 971 and Stone’s Automotive with traffic detoured to CR 152.

Construction crews will repave the roadway section Wednesday. Drivers can expect lane closures and traffic flaggers in the area while repaving is underway.

The roadway will fully reopen by Thursday.
