Festival organizers are looking for volunteers to help out at KOKEFEST, which will be held for a second year in Hutto this August. The two-day country music festival will take place Aug. 10 and 11 at the new Hutto Park at Brushy Creek, located at 1001 CR 137, Hutto. Country music artists Aaron Watson, Mark Chesnutt and Mike Ryan will perform Aug. 10; Chris Colston, Ruston Kelly, Koe Wetzel, Whiskey Myers, Wade Bowen and the Josh Abbott Band will perform Aug. 11. Parking passes for on-site parking will go on sale July 16. Off-site parking shuttle options will also be available. Organizers are looking for local volunteers to work at the festival. Volunteers will receive free two-day admission passes, food, beverages, a volunteer T-shirt and free parking. Those interested in volunteering should visit KOKEFEST.com. City officials expect roughly 10,000 concertgoers to attend the festival. Work is underway at the northeast corner of the 65-acre site on a 4,000-seat amphitheater, which will be the location of KOKEFEST 2019. The city partnered with KOKE FM to have the radio station produce four to six events per year for seven years at the site, beginning in 2019.
