Alex Jones wins Oak Ridge North City Council Place 1 race

With all precincts reporting, incumbent Alex Jones has taken a lead over challenger Martha Stedifor, with 68.74 percent of the vote, or 332 votes. Stedifor received 31.26 percent of the vote, or 151 votes.

Jones was first elected to council in 2016.

"I'm happy to be able to serve the residents of Oak Ridge North for another two years," Jones said. "I appreciate the voters putting their trust in me."
