The Texas Department of Transportation is reconstructing the bridge structures on I-35 at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, and demolition of the Stassney bridge is scheduled for early February. Phase 1 of northbound frontage bridge construction was completed in October, and the first phase of the southbound frontage bridge construction was completed Nov. 14. Over the next six months, new U-turn bridges will be complete at Stassney and construction on U-turn bridges will begin at William Cannon Drive.

Timeline: July 2016-winter 2019 or early 2020
