Several meetings take place in Fort Bend County this week, Dec. 18-22, including Missouri City and Sugar Land city councils, Fort Bend County Commissioners Court and Fort Bend ISD.

1) Missouri City City Council meets for a special meeting Monday at 5:45 p.m. and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. at 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City. During the special meeting, the council will consider the reappraisal of property that was damaged during Hurricane Harvey. During the regular meeting, it will hold a public hearing regarding placement of a telecommunications tower at 3900 Raoul Wallenberg Lane, Missouri City. View the special meeting agenda here. 2) The Fort Bend ISD board of trustees meets for a regular meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at 16431 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land. The board will discuss the district's internal audit, an update on Lakeview Auditorium and an emergency declaration purchase. View the full agenda here.

3) Fort Bend County Commissioners Court will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 401 Jackson St., Richmond. County Judge Robert Hebert is set to authorize $800,000 in funding for repairs to lower Oyster Creek Outfall due to Harvey. This agenda item is subject to county attorney negotiations of an interlocal agreement with the Sienna Levy Improvement District. Funding would come from the general fund and the drainage district. 4) Sugar Land City Council meets Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at 2700 Town Center Blvd., Sugar Land. The council will appoint three members to the Tax Investment Reinvestment Zone No. 1 board of directors, two members to the TIRZ No. 3 board of directors and two members to the TIRZ No. 4 board of directors.
